The project
What we built in Santa Clara.
Marble does the heavy lifting here: full-height slab walls around a freestanding tub, a walk-in shower with a built-in bench and floating oak shelves, brass fittings against a copper mosaic niche, and a heated towel rail where a cold one used to be. The powder room went the other way, with a hand painted blossom mural behind an oak vanity and a round backlit mirror.
Stone this unforgiving rewards a crew that does its own work. Ours set every slab, and the same project manager walked the finished rooms with the owner at the end, the way every one of our projects closes.
