The short version: we use your details to answer you about your project, we do not sell them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Who we are.
This website, clarity-construction.com, is operated by Clarity Construction, a licensed California general contractor (CSLB #1124235) at 3030 Scott Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Questions about this policy can be sent to Chris@Clarity-Construction.com or asked by phone at (408) 443-2393.
What we collect, and why.
When you fill in the consultation form we receive what you type: your name, phone number, email address, the kind of project you are planning, your city, an optional budget range and your message. We use it for one purpose: to contact you about the project you asked about, and to prepare for the walkthrough if we schedule one.
When you call or email us, we keep your contact details and the notes of the conversation for the same reason.
We do not collect payment card details through this website, and the form has no login or account.
Where it goes.
Form submissions are emailed to our team and a copy is kept on our web server so a message is never lost if an email fails. Only Clarity Construction staff who handle new inquiries can see it. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the company except the service providers that run our website and email, who may process it only on our behalf.
Advertising and analytics cookies.
We advertise on Google. To measure whether those ads work, the site loads Google's tag, which sets cookies in your browser and tells Google when someone who clicked one of our ads calls us or sends the form. Google explains what it collects and how to opt out at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the website works without them.
The site does not use any other analytics, social media pixels or chat widgets.
How long we keep it.
Inquiry details are kept for as long as we are talking with you about a project, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. If you become a client, project records are kept for the period California law requires for construction contracts. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time by emailing Chris@Clarity-Construction.com.
Your choices and rights.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by email or phone using the details above. We answer such requests ourselves, and we do not treat anyone differently for making one.
Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because the only tracking it performs is the Google advertising tag described above, which is controlled through Google's own settings and your browser's cookie controls.
Children.
This website is for homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date below. This policy was last updated on September 2, 2026.
